This lacquered black bottle is sealed with a coppery threaded stopper. The bottle has a pattern on it that resembles a setting sun and is lightweight, as if empty.
Within the bottle is contained the essence of twilight. Opening the bottle for a few seconds allows this power to escape, forcing light to fade within a 60ft radius.
The effect of this gloam lasts for l minute, reducing the area to Dim lighting conditions. Strangely, this twilight effect works in reverse as well, transforming areas of shadow and complete darkness into Dim lighting as well.
This lighting effect is magical, overriding any magical light or darkness of 3rd level or less. Releasing the twilight requires the Use an Object Action - ie: may be converted to a bonus action by the Fast Hands ability, but otherwise requires an Action.
The bottle contains enough twilight to use this effect lO times. Alternately, for the same action cost, more can be released on a turn, stacking the doses to create a longer-lasting effect.
