The White Vials are small bulbs made out of an unknown pearlescent material, decorated with cloudlike motifs and a single Elvish character meaning living air.
The metal cap on each vial is designed to deliver its contents in small doses through the user's nostril with a gentle snort.
The Vials contain a magical vapor that circulates through the body, filling the lungs and oxygenating organs with a concentrated, life-giving essence. Each dose allows one to breathe easily and even exercise for approximately four hours in environments with limited or even no breathable air.
It seems that the Moonfae made use of these Vials in order to venture outside the White Gold palace and survive in the thin atmosphere of the Moonless Plain.

It has been discovered that the enchantments on the vials allow them to be recharged by consuming the life essance of a creature from the Elemental Plane of Air. The charging process is activated by way of an Arcana check, and must be performed in contact with an Elemental who is either bound, or freely gives of its essence.
This process is extremely painful to the Elemental, and can even be fatal. Each vial is recharged at the cost of 25 HP from the donor.
