A talisman with a knotwork design, that hangs from a small leather necklace. It is inscribed on the reverse with discreet arcane symbols pertaining to illusion and transformation.

Using the amulet requires the user to concentrate and visualize the physical changes they want to make, including height, weight, facial features, voice, hair length, coloration, and distinguishing characteristics, if any.
It can change one to appear as a member of another humanoid race, though they do not take on any special abilities of that form. The effects of the amulet are physical in nature, not illusory. Height may be adjusted by almost a foot in either direction, but the wielder's basic human shape stays the same.
With careful practice (and the use of a mirror or other reflective surface) one can alter their appearance to mimic a specific person, although small imperfections may result, and make it difficult to completely fool those very familiar with person imitated.
The Amulet requires l Action to use, and perhaps longer to achieve a more refined or detailed transformation.
The Amulet may be used a number of times per day equal to your Proficiency Bonus. Each transformation lasts six hours or until canceled, even if the wearer is unconscious. Removing the Amulet dispels its effects.

Minor adjustments can be made to a shape once it has been initiated, but extensive changes will trigger another use of the item. When a six hour transformation ends, the user may choose to renew the same shape immediately, though this requires being conscious, and the shape will become visibly unstable for a few seconds as the effect is renewed.
