The Red Harvest is an artifact from mythic times, and likely belonged to an Alukah lord or hero. Vaclav of the Copper Goblet was a fanatical Vaara who wished for a return to the old ways, and styled himself after the Blood Princes of old. The Red Harvest may have been procured by him as a collector's piece, or inherited as a family heirloom.
Description:
An ancient, exotic polearm resembling a glaive, with a single-edged blade that is simultaneously elegant and cruel. It is wrought of a whorled white material, like polished ivory or bone, but which otherwise behaves like steel. Finely engraved mystic glyphs run along the back edge.
The vampiric enchantments on the Red Harvest enhance cutting power by absorbing 'hot' blood through the surface of its blade. The milky finish becomes stained with billowing patches of red that spread and become more brilliant with each cut until it turns an almost-glowing shade of deep red.
Like many Alukah weapons, the Red Harvest has the Heavy property, but is balanced in such a way that it may be used Versatile in one hand (for example, with a shield) by someone with sufficient strength. However, when used in one hand, it loses the Heavy property.

The Weasel-Tail Haft:
The Red Harvest has recently been refitted to the haft of Scholar Wu's Weasel-Tail Glaive. This metal haft is six feet long, and is composed of three distinct sections connected by a short length of chain, which can be contracted and locked, or released, by means of a discreet trigger concealed on the haft.
This permits the haft to be collapsed to a length of 2-feet for storage. With practice, the wielder can draw and flick out the sections while triggering the mechanism, allowing the haft to snap into place and lock itself at its full length in a single motion (1 interaction).
Additionally, the blade of the glaive can be removed separately. Its tang is fitted with a leather grip and small ring pommel, allowing the vampiric blade of the Red Harvest to be used independently short sword if desired (+1 / D6+1 damage). When used in this way, it retains its magical qualities, but loses the Heavy and Reach properties.

- For each 15 points of damage dealt by the Red Harvest to a living, bleeding foe, it accumulates l Fury point.
- Fury points can be spent to turn a normal hit with the blade into a Critical Hit.
- The Red Harvest can hold a maximum of 4 Fury points at once. These remain potent for up to 1 minute or until the end of the melee (whichever comes first).
- Critical hits unleashed by spending a Fury point cannot be harvested towards more Fury points. Fury points can only be earned through normal hits.
- Fury points can only be harvested from the blood of a living opponent, or from pooled blood collected from their body while they still live or within l round after they expire.
Example: Vaclav allowed Red Harvest to drink blood he had bled out of passive targets to collect a full charge of Fury points, but that supply of blood would be inert if he returned to it the following round.
If a target donor is incapacitated, the harvesting process still requires an attack roll and damage roll to determine the amount harvested. Surplus damage / negative HP cannot be harvested, so a donor must have at least 15 HP (or you must have multiple donors).
