A stunted, ugly, Fae-blooded wretch who indignantly claims himself to be a Hobgoblin. He is gruff and standoffish, but will turn sniveling and cowardly when threatened. He seemed to hold Gnomes in especial contempt.

Margle served as Bronzanti's cook for a very long time - possibly centuries. He takes pride in his culinary arts, and lamented that there were so few in Castle Dreist who could still appreciate his cooking.

He served Bronzanti out of a combination of fear and duty - perhaps due to a promise extracted long ago. Now that Bronzanti is believed dead, he seems unsure what to do with his newfound freedom.

In spite of his grotesque appearance, his kitchen smelled pleasantly of herbs and fresh bread.
