When an arrow is loosed, the bow ‘listens’ to the arrow, and ‘speaks’ to the wielder. So long as the bowstring hums, the archer can see the arrow’s path in his mind’s eye.
For l Round, the archer can see and hear as if standing in the arrow’s landing place. This connection can only be maintained with the last arrow fired by the bow.
Each subsequent round of awareness requires an action, Concentration, and a Perception check. Disadv. applies at long range and DC is +1 per 100ft of distance. A fail means the bowstring stops humming and loses its connection to the arrow, though the archer will still be led almost unerringly to the last arrow’s location.
After striking a living target, the archer can choose to learn something from the target: general class level / health level / equipment carried / race / even superficial thoughts, etc.
If the arrow remains embedded in the target, the archer will always have an accurate sense of the target's bearing. This allows the archer to make a Survival check with ADV to track the target without slowing their pace.
