This exquisite cloak is impossibly thin, lightweight, and voluminous. When swathed in the folds of the cloak, one becomes almost impossible to discern under conditions of night or darkness. Its deep black surface absorbs light unnaturally, and its billows blur the contours of the wearer, blending them into the gloom.
Unfortunately, the same shadow magic that gives the cloak its power also makes it vulnerable to the light of the sun. Exposure to daylight disintegrates the weblike membranes of the cloak and burns away its enchantments.
*Advantage on Stealth checks is in addition to the normal Disadvantage to Perception checks under dim light
The magic in the cloak responds to darkness itself (ie: the absence of light), rendering the wearer Invisible even to creatures with Darkvision. Attacking dispels the invisibility, and a successful Hide check is required to become invisible again.
Creatures who can see in magical darkness are unaffected by this effect.
If a light source shifts the dark area to Dim Light, the Invisibility effect is dispelled.
