These cruel blades are made of an unknown black substance that resembles metal, with a shiny but pitted surface. They are lightweight and oddly balanced, with a harsh, semi-organic styling and tiny serrations along the cutting edge. Through as-yet unknown means, the blades are infused with a searing contact poison that creates a burning acid-like sensation on open wounds.

Like many other Drow tools, the materials of the Poison Blades begin to break down when exposed to sunlight for any prolonged amount of time. After an hour, the weapon will become cracked, brittle, and worthless.
